Mrs. Joyner was recently honored by the West Philadelphia Paul Robeson Chess Club for stepping up to provide financial and resource support to enable the chess club to travel to Tennessee to compete in the National Chess Tournament. The chess team and coach were grateful for Mrs. Joyner's forthright leadership and awarded her a certificate.
